Did Damian Lillard Subtweet The Warriors During Their Game 4 Loss?

The entire NBA world was watching on Tuesday night as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals. That includes other players, and that includes players who have dropped 50 points on the Warriors this season and gave them unexpected headaches in the second round.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard isn’t buying any talk that Stephen Curry’s lingering knee and ankle problems are to blame for the Warriors’ struggles.

The Blazers, of course, heard plenty of the same criticisms last month after Chris Paul and Blake Griffin got injured early in the first round. Not that it was a letdown for Portland, though. Lillard and his team made the second round of the playoffs after losing four starters last summer.

Still, his point stands: No excuses this time of year.
