‘NOTHIN’ BUT NET’ REMADE FOR CHINA

The Larry Bird-Michael Jordan "nothin' but net" game of HORSE McDonald's commercial is obviously an all-time classic.  Bird, obviously having just smoked John Mellencamp under the table, joneses for Jordan's Big Mac, and Jordan, wearing the Cosby sweater of warm-up outfits, engages him in the battle royale.

And now, as Darren Rovell points out in his Sports Biz blog, McDonald's has re-made it with Chinese hoopsters Zhu Fongyu ("thanks for everything") and Yi Jianlian.

Anyone else mildly creeped out?
