Witnesses tell News On 6 it was terrifying as a car crashed into parade watchers at high speed. The car was not part of the parade but was on Main before crashing into the crowd at the intersection with Hall of Fame. A motorcyclist was also hit, and we’re hearing reports it may have been a police unit.

At this time it’s unclear how or why the vehicle crashed into the onlookers, but there is speculation that it was possibly intentional.

Original reports had two dead at the scene, but the number has since risen to three, and 27 people were airlifted. One witness said to be “inches” from the accident originally believed a bomb had gone off.

Reporters and spectators who were at the scene shared some images from the horrific crash on Twitter.
