The ‘It Me’ Podcast: Harambe Would Have Loved Lollapalooza (And Brunch)

Music festival season is upon us, and that means even sporty friends are hitting the road to listen to live music and try and survive the rise of the teens. With Lollapalooza in the rearview, and football coming up on the horizon, the summer is winding down soon, but the fall brings lots of fun and excitement all its own.

This week we brought in close friend and former UPROXX bro Pete Blackburn (who recently joined Fox Sports) to discuss his trip out to Chicago, where he met up with Martin for some fun hangs. They also had brunch, which is coincidentally the name of Pete’s podcast. Robby joined us from the road, where he might be permanently stationed, (Who even knows anymore?)

This week, we discussed:

  • The best acts we saw at Lollapalooza
  • Robby’s summer of music and golf
  • Pete’s decision to join Fox Sports
  • The best places we’ve ever had brunch and what brunch means to us
  • What makes Chicago such a magical place in the summer
  • Throwback jerseys
  • The Summer of Harambe
  • And more!

As always, comments and tweets are welcome. Subscribe to us on iTunes, too! You can find Robby at (@rkalland) and Martin at (@martinrickman), and Pete is at (@peteblackburn). Sports are great and so are friends, but sports are always better with friends.

Special thanks to the band Annabel for our intro and outro music. They’re really good. You should buy their music at their website or perhaps see them play a show some time.
