Here’s The Terrible Tom Brady ‘Joke’ That People Won’t Stop Tweeting About

One of Twitter’s favorite/worst jokes pops up any time a notable person in sports is suspended or arrested. People either swap the first letters in the celebrity’s first and last names, or come up with two names similar to theirs. They’ll even photoshop a mustache on said person’s face and, to quote Jean-Ralphio Saperstein, it’s the wooooooooooorst.

Today, after it was announced that the NFL upheld New England quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension due to the Ballghazi scandal, these comic geniuses came out of hiding and thought it would be hilarious to say that people whose name rhymes with “Tom Brady” will line up as QB for the Pats in the first four games of the 2015 season. The king of these horrendous Tweeters was, of course, ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

Then, people followed suit, broken down into two categories. First, there is the “Dom Grady” camp.

The other camp are the people who prefer “Ron Fady.”

If you think that none of these things that are trying to be passed as jokes are funny, then congratulations on having a good sense of humor.
