The Nashville Predators have this overtime thing down pat. Last week, they needed three extra frames to top the Sharks in a thriller. On Monday, they only needed two minutes.
Preds forward Viktor Arvidsson unleashed a nasty backhand shot past San Jose goaltender Martin Jones just a few minutes into OT in Game 6, giving Nashville the win on home ice. Not only was it a beautiful goal, it was also possibly a season-saving one, as the tally helped the Predators stave off elimination and force an all-or-nothing Game 7 against the Sharks on Thursday.
