The internet is never quicker to “well, actually…” than when a naked woman is involved. During last night’s season finale of Game of Thrones, Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister went on a naked Walk of Shame after she confessed to sleeping with her cousin. “Well, actually,” it wasn’t Headey the entire time; it was her body double. EW notes that she “might not have been naked herself during all the shots (a body double was used),” and Reddit, of course, went full “ENHANCE THE IMAGE” to determine when it was Headey and when it wasn’t.
100% Body double for several reasons, the face outline was blurry as sh*t when they showed the entire body from the front, two that body doesn’t look at all like Lena’s body, here’s a fairly recent shoot and a couple of screenshots where’s it’s obvious what i mean. She looks like the long-necked dude on the Jedi Council. Headey was pregnant at the time of filming. Couple that with being surrounded by hundreds of pervert extras, and of course she’d use a body double. Doesn’t take away from how great her performance was. If she doesn’t win Outstanding Head Actress in a Drama Series at the Emmys this year…
