Pete Davidson Tweets A Funny And Heartfelt Remembrance To His Firefighter Dad Who Died On 9/11

Pete Davidson’s firefighter father, Scott, was a first responder on Sept. 11, 2001. He and five others in his company crossed the Brooklyn Bridge to the Twin Towers, and raced up the stairs of the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel to help those in need. Unfortunately, they never made it out. Pete, who was 7 years old at the time, has referenced his pops before, at Justin Bieber roasts and on Twitter, and it’s clear where he gets his sense of humor from.

“Scott was always clowning around,” recalled Jaime Hatton Cregin, Davidson’s former schoolmate at Staten Island’s St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School. “Telling jokes, making people laugh. At school, he used to tell me that I liked him — and then told me to carry his books,” she recalled. (Via)

On the 14th anniversary of that horrible day, the SNL breakout shared a remembrance of his hero dad. And his hero dad’s gigantic dick.

Davidson added on Instagram, “Can’t believe it’s been 14 years. Over two-thirds of my life without you. It feels like it was just yesterday. There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think of you. You’re my hero. Can’t wait to see you again someday. R.I.P., Dad. 1/4/68-9/11/01.”
