What’s On Tonight: Eight Hours Of ‘Childrens Hospital’

Childrens Hospital (Adult Swim, 9 p.m.) — To prepare viewers for season four of Childrens Hospital, which premieres on August 9th, Adult Swim is airing nearly every episode of the series, beginning with season two’s “I See Her Face Everywhere.” That’s whole lotta fake blood and creepy clown makeup, yet not enough Lake Bell.

XXX Summer Olympics (NBC, 8 p.m.) — I have no idea what has or hasn’t aired on NBC anymore, so let’s just pretend we don’t already know who won the ultra-hyped Ryan Lochte vs. Michael Phelps rematch, even though your friend’s girlfriend’s mom posted that picture of a shirtless Phelps screaming and/or Lochte eating that medal on her Facebook wall.

Wilfred (FX, 10 p.m.) — “Wilfred and Ryan’s friendship is threatened during a sticky encounter.” Is that the same as a “sticky situation”?

Louie (FX, 10:30 p.m.) — “A troublesome kid ruins Louie’s day.” My dream of Louis writing Problem Child 4: Damn, Junior Got Old is that much closer to coming true. And if you think that’s a bad idea, “sorry.”

The Larry Sanders Show (VH1 Classic, 11:30 p.m.) — I had no idea VH1 Classics airs repeats of this amazing show, right after old episodes of Pop-Up Video, at that. And because I know you’re wondering: Babyface (“Every Time I Close My Eyes”), Tracy Chapman (“Fast Car”), and INXS (“Never Tear Us Apart”), among others.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Rashida Jones on Ferguson; Will Ferrell and Tenacious D on Conan; Jessica Biel on Stewart; and Chris Hayes on Colbert.
