What’s On Tonight: ‘House of Cards’ Tries To Out-Scandal Real Life Politics

House of Cards (Netflix) – Season five of House of Cards is going to do its best to top the real life political scandals currently plaguing the Trump administration. They’ve got their hands full, but if anyone can take the sleaze factor up a notch, it’s Frank Underwood. This season, there’s trouble in paradise for Frank and Claire as the politician plans his eventual dictatorship.

The Americans (FX, 10:00 p.m.) – The season ends with Stan facing his uncertain future and Philip and Elizabeth racing to save a young boy’s life as they deal with their own murky prospects. With only one more season to go, expect tonight’s episode to set things in motion in a big way.

America’s Got Talent (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) – Season 12 opens with a handful of new acts auditioning for the same judges but this year, Tyra Banks is hosting.

Downward Dog (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) – Nan tries to distract Kevin by bringing Martin to work so she can finish her new ad campaign but Martin ends up taking a liking to him.

Pretty Little Liars (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) – The Liars band together to protect one of their own as they discover how the game originated.

WWE SmackDown (USA, 8:00 p.m.) – A 5-way elimination match for top women’s contender features Becky Lynch, Tamina, Carmella, Natalya and Charlotte Flair.

Animal Kingdom (TNT, 9:00 p.m.) – Season two begins a risky heist that backfires, causing the boys to blame Smurf and creating a rift in the family.

Prison Break (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) – Season five ends as Michael and Lincoln fight to protect Sarah and her son. Everything comes to a head when Michael and Poseidon clash in a showdown that has everyone fighting to make it out alive.

iZombie (CW, 9:00 p.m.) – Ravi uncovers some deadly information as Liv investigates the death of a Dungeon Master who did more than just play video games in his mom’s basement.

Imaginary Mary (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) – The season closes with Mary and Alice hosting a sleepover for Ben and the kids before Ben backs out after fearing the family’s nightly rituals might scare Alice off.

World of Dance (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) – NBC’s getting into the reality dance competition business with this one, created by Jennifer Lopez and hosted by Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Ne-Yo and Derek Hough serve as judges as some of the world’s most elite dance acts face off in arena-style battles.
