Ariana Grande Shows Off Her Incredible Celine Dion And Rihanna Impressions On ‘SNL’

Ariana Grande isn’t always the easiest singer to understand — literally no one, not even the most devoted donut-licker, knows all the lyrics to “Break Free.” She told Jimmy Fallon that she’s “working on the pronunciation thing, it’s a recurring problem.” But it wasn’t an issue on last night SNL‘s, where, after swearing up a storm (which is to say, she said “sh*t” once), Grande helped save Tidal. It’s about time someone did, because they need the help.

Like Bruno Mars before her, Grande, as intern Chloe, did a series of impressive musical impressions when Tidal goes down. There’s Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” Shakira’s “Whenever, Wherever,” Rihanna’s “Work” (now there’s an enunciation nightmare), Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Chloe nails them all. Well, everyone except Ariana Grande, who she’s “not a big fan.”

“Tidal” isn’t the first time the “One Last Time” singer has shown off her particular set of mimicry skills. Grande has previously imitated Spears, Dion, and Christina Aguilera, but this is the first time she’s used her talents to save a company, at which point “Jay-Z” thanked her personally. Now he can carry on running a struggling company, and she can be carried like a baby.
