Steph Curry Trolled Everyone With An Ice Pack Following A Report About Offseason Shoulder Surgery

On Saturday following Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Mark Heisler of the Los Angeles Daily News reported that Steph Curry has been even more banged up than some have suspected:

If Steph Curry has only been Steph Curry intermittently, there’s a reason.

He’s hurting … even more than he acknowledged last week while withdrawing from the U.S. Olympic team.

It’s not just the ankle and the knee that he sprained, sidelining him for six games in the first two rounds. A source says Curry consulted a orthopedist in Southern California.

Steph’s MRI showed issues with both shoulders as well as his knees, some of which may require surgery this summer.

That was news to just about everyone…including Steph Curry.

But recognizing a golden opportunity to have a little fun with reporters, the two-time MVP showed up to media availability on Sunday afternoon looking like this:

But he quickly clarified that the previous report was apparently erroneous.

He also took the opportunity to double-down on his defense of his new Curry 2 Lows, which as you might be aware, weren’t well-received by the general public upon their initial release last week.

Curry claimed he would’ve worn them for Game 4 if had a pair handy, but it remains to be seen whether he’ll have them on when Game 5 tips off on Monday night at Oracle Arena.
