Gucci Mane May Have Just Revealed An Outkast Reunion Album

It’s been two years since Big Boi and Andre 3000 reunited on-stage as Outkast, and ten years since the duo released “Idlewild.” Could a full-fledged reunion album be in the works? Gucci Mane may have just spilled the beans in an impressive roll call of artists he’s been working with lately.

Here’s what he said on Snapchat:

“I just did a record for Outkast, I just did a record for Wayne. I just did a record for Boosie, I just did a record for Project Pat. I just did a record for E-40…”

It seems as clear as day — he just worked with Outkast. Unless he’s saying he just worked with Big Boi and maybe Andre for Big Boi’s upcoming project with Killer Mike. The speculation could go in a few different directions. People considered Andre and Big Boi’s work on Frank Ocean’s 2013 album a “reunion” without it technically being a full-fledged reunion, so maybe this is too good to be true?

Until we find out the clear answer, we’ll just have to wonder until something definitive drops. Maybe it’ll just be a track, maybe it’ll be an album. Maybe it’ll be nothing? It’s simply too early to tell, and that’s totally frustrating. The world needs Outkast right now.
