Stoners Rejoice, Because Taco Bell Has New Crunchwrap Sliders With Cheetos Now

We’re still nearly two months away from 4/20, but Weed Day is coming early this year thanks to Taco Bell, which is launching a new line of Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders. The bad news is you’ll have to go north of the border for this treat because, as of now, they’re only available in Taco Bell’s Canada franchise locations.

Whether or not your mouth is watering out of hunger or nausea is between you and your god, but honestly, this shouldn’t come as such a surprise. Taco Bell’s past collaborations with Frito-Lay products include the Beefy Fritos Burrito and Dorito-shelled tacos, so this is the next logical step.

A press release describes the thought process that went into the pairing:

“Taco Bell Crunchwraps have been a best-selling menu item since they were first introduced in nearly 10 years ago,” says Veronica Castillo, Head of Marketing and R&D, Taco Bell Canada. “This year, we’ve shaken things up to create a smaller-sized Crunchwrap with a new flavour profile that combines the much-loved Crunchwrap with another all-time fan favourite snack, Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeño. The two have come together to create a truly iconic taste experience – just for our Canadian fans.”

They may say “just for Canadian fans” now, but I would not be at all surprised to see some variation of a Cheetos product coming stateside eventually. Or maybe Taco Bell has something even “better” in store for us. A Funyuns quesadilla, perhaps? Sun Chips nachos? Your gag reflex is the limit!
