Is The Heated Anthony Bourdain-Guy Fieri Beef Finally Over?

Two chefs, two big personalities, one tangled feud. If this is the first time you’ve heard of the back-and-forth between the notoriously fiery Anthony Bourdain and the Nickelback-loving Guy Fieri, let the video above be your guide. The two have been at it since Bourdain said some nasty words about Fieri on Sirius back in 2012.

Those words sparked a battle, which certainly wasn’t helped by Fieri’s notorious burn at Bourdain’s roast in 2012. (He called him, among other things, a “no-good, loud mouth, jerkoff, wannabe authority, pseudo rebel, nerd, sh*t-talking, blow hard, celebrity-seeking, Eric-Ripert coattail, Mario Batali ass-kissing hate monger.” Yikes.)

For three years, the war of words raged, until finally, last year, Fieri told GQ that Bourdain has “definitely gotta have issues, because the average person doesn’t behave in that way.” And although Bourdain never truly apologized for what he called jokes, he recently spoke to the New York Daily News about the alleged feud, saying, “I have no hate in my heart for the guy. He doesn’t make me angry.”

Is it the end of the feud, or is there still something cooking in that kitchen? We’ll have to wait to find out. In the meantime, we’ll just keep thinking up good #GuyFieriMovies and pricing out how much it would cost to eat Anthony Bourdain’s final meal.
