Strollers For Grown Ups Are A Thing Now, Let Your Nostalgia Run Wild

Ah, to go back to the good old days of being pushed around by Mom in a stroller. Without a care in the world, you got to relax and enjoy the ride from the strapped-in comfort of your kid-sized canvas bucket seat. Sometimes, you even got a baggie of Goldfish crackers to nibble on!

If this is your dream, you’re in luck. Thanks to the baby product company Kolcraft, you can now relive those carefree days with the adult-sized version of their Contours Bliss stroller. Okay, pause. Before you start typing your comment-section diatribe on yet another thing hipsters have messed up, let us assure you, adult-sized strollers aren’t about to become the next adult preschool.

Kolcraft created the gigantic stroller as a silly way for parents to test-drive their product.

“We created the test ride so adults could experience first-hand how each Contours Stroller is carefully designed with a baby’s joy and comfort in mind and make sure it’s the perfect choice for their family,” Kolcraft president Tom Koltun said in a statement.

Makes sense — when you’re in the market for a stroller, a lot of questions arise: safety, of course, but also comfort and convenience. Sure, that fancy-pants Bugaboo might be top-rated on Amazon because it folds down nicely and doesn’t bump around on rough ground, but how do you know whether it’s truly the best option for your little one?

At 7-foot-6 high, 6-feet deep, and 4-feet wide, the adult-sized stroller is over twice the size of the regular kid-sized Contours Bliss. And people are lining up to try it out, as you can tell from the video, below.

If you want to give it a spin, the next outing is scheduled for June 7 at Chicago’s Mary Bartelme Park. Sadly, Pepperidge Farms hasn’t yet announced the creation of adult-sized Goldfish crackers. But we’re waiting. Because nothing says Saturday like cheddar crackers and a fresh nappy.
