Oh, pizza, let us count the ways we love thee. We love pizza a lot around these parts. It’s a damn near perfect food — as comforting as it is delicious. Now, imagine that you’re the lucky winner of a year’s worth of free pizza. Oh, what a joyous day that would be. Well, Hannah Spooner just lived that day! She randomly hit up a local Little Caesar’s in Michigan and entered a raffle for a year’s worth of free pizza (or $500 worth). And she won.
Spooner reacted by exclaiming, “Seriously! This is dope!” Then she made her win mean more, she made it a win for the homeless. Spooner decided that she would pass on her good luck and make a difference so she donated her prize to Covenant House Michigan. The charity offers three squares a day to Detroit area homeless and enthusiastically welcomed the assistance. Spooner stated that “Detroit is going through a lot of negativity. I could tell it would actually make a difference.”
Hannah Spooner, who is only 19, took the already awesome prize of a year’s worth of free Little Caesar’s pizza and turned it into something awesome and inspirational for the rest us. Pure awesome.
