Remember when you were a kid and your parents joked about how when you were rich (we were all going to end up rich) you’d pay them back for all their feeding and watering (and taking you to ballet and soccer and pretending it’s totally chill that you once threw a tantrum at Safeway because why not, it was a Tuesday) by buying them a house? While many of our parents are still waiting on that dream, one enterprising 18-year-old is thisclose to making it a reality. Except her parents (who are facing eviction) don’t actually want the house because she’s auctioning off her virginity in order to purchase it.
According to Bro Bible, Aleexandra Khefren initially asked for a million bucks in exchange for one night with her. Why that price? Well, she got the idea from Indecent Proposal, but it seems like she’s willing to take more as long as people are ponying up. And she’s allegedly been offered way more than the cool million that was going to buy her parents a swingin’ pad in Bucharest, Romania. In fact, a bidder has now offered her (again, allegedly) $2.1 million for the privilege of her company.
Is it totally gross that we live in a world in which virginity is so important to some people that they’re willing to shell out millions of dollars for the privilege of despoiling it? Sure. But it’s also Khefren’s hot body and she can do whatever she wants with it. The Daily Mail reports that the model doesn’t consider this auction prostitution, but the sale is being run by a German escort company (which will take 20 percent), so it sure sounds like sex work. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but Khefner’s parents are allegedly very, very upset. In fact, they had no idea she was even doing this until she went on TV to talk about her business endeavor. (And based on the clip below, even Khefren’s in a little over head here.)

But will they accept the potential house? While we’re wishing Khefren the best, it’s important to remember that virginity auctions (while not super rare) are also fraught with danger. A Brazilian woman who auctioned off her first sexual experience for $780,000 never got paid.
