‘Workaholics’ Will Wave Goodbye After It Wraps Up Season 7

It’s retirement time for Workaholics. Or at least it will be after season 7 wraps up.

Variety reports that the Comedy Central series is ending its run after 2017’s stockpile of episodes runs dry. News of Workaholics packing it in shouldn’t come as too much of a shock. Adam DeVine‘s been busy with TV and movies, Anders Holm is Fox’s new prized Pigeon, and Blake Anderson has his basketball video game skills to hone, so the availability of the key trio was already limited. Plus, DeVine pretty much said as much this summer anyway.

“This is it, we think,” shared Devine in July. “We’ve talked as a group. We kind of think now’s a good time to put it to bed.”

No additional details have tumbled out about how the show will bid adieu, but we imagine Workaholics will still be able to showcase some guest star magic. The final ten episodes will bubble up in January and one of these episodes will feature The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev engaging in some sort of behaviour that facilitates laughter or future laughter.

Don’t get too down, Workaholicaholics! Jillian Bell’s Idiotsitter is waiting for you and everyone you care about to get around to watching the damn show.
