Abigail Breslin, the child actress who stole our hearts with her uplifting performance in Little Miss Sunshine, seems to be blossoming into quite the teenager. And by that I mean your average, everyday “kill it with fire” teenager. If you’ll recall, late last month Breslin released a music video eloquently titled “You Suck,” which was strongly implied to be about Breslin’s ex-boyfriend, 5 Seconds of Summer boy bander Michael Clifford. (The video has since been removed.)
The latest subject of Breslin’s ire, however, seems to be Taylor Swift, depending how much you want to read into this tweet she posted yesterday. Breslin changed the lyrics of Taylor Swift’s 1989 song “Blank Space,” which goes “cause darling I’m a nightmare dressed like a daydream,” to this:

Breslin later backpedaled, saying that it was definitely, in no way about notorious cat-having person Taylor Swift. I mean come on, why would you even think that. (PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE TEEN GIRL MODE HYPER-DRIVE)
to clarify: my tweet earlier quoting a taylor swift lyric was me saying I AM AN EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE CAT LADY. NOT TAYLOR. JSYK.

Uh huh. May I present exhibits A through E, from a Twitter exchange between Swift and Breslin’s ex earlier this month:
I'm so late on the shake it off hype

He made the cat emoji with hearts coming out of its eyes, you guys. IT IS SO ON LIKE DONKEY KONG. I just hope Abigail Breslin knows what she’s getting herself into. You come at the queen… of uh, passive aggressive feuds, you best not miss.
Now excuse me while I slam my head in the door for devoting this much thought and energy into a feud between two young women.
