Here’s Where To Find The Best Airport Food In America

Airport food isn’t known for its reasonable prices or its high quality. In fact, most people — when faced with the prospect of getting dinner at the airport — immediately assume that it’s going to be a dried out Burger King Whopper (which costs $15), a box of Toblerone, and at least one ill-advised purchase from Natalie’s Candy Jar (the only self-serve candy store that’s more expensive than Sweet Factory). But those of us who are upset at the prospect of having to eat one or two meals at the airport may have just been misinformed. A new infographic reveals that your local aviation transportation hub actually offers a plethora of amazing dining options. Some might even be suitable for a date.

The infographic shows that you can find amazing things to eat at nearly every major airport and in almost every terminal. You don’t have to go to Five Guys (still an excellent choice), either. In Atlanta, for instance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience at One Flew South, where you can partake of porkbelly sliders. In San Francisco, you can enjoy truffle mac & cheese at Vino Volo, and in New York — the glitziest city of them all — you can indulge in a smorgasbord of delights at La Vie, a highly-rated French bistro.
