Nightmares Fear Factory has been scaring people for a long time. The self-titled ‘Scariest Haunted House in the World,’ located in a former coffin factory in Niagara Falls, Canada, has been in business for over 30 years now, making it the longest continually-run haunted house in North America.
Is it actually scary? Well, the fact that over 140,000 people are on Nightmares’ official “chicken list” should be an indicator that it’s not your run-of-the-mill, chainsaws and devils brand of horror attraction. And if you trust the reviewers, yes. Over at Yelp, reviewer Jolene wrote, “OMG,WTF!!!!! WOW, this was incredible! Scary ass shit! Leg grabbing,walls closin in, something in the dark behind you or in front, ceiling collapsing and crazy shit!!” Which seems to translate roughly to, “I liked it.”
