Last weekend, we all sat in awe and watched as Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon seemingly defied gravity in the NBA’s Dunk Contest. The two were ostensibly on the verge of flying every time they took off, showing off some of the most incredible and innovative jams that we have ever seen.
However, we have found an athlete that makes the two of them look like chumps, an athlete that is able to cover distances that are hard to comprehend with relative ease. Not only is this athlete able to cover a lot of ground, but it also gets way, way up in the air, soaring casually like an airplane flying over the Atlantic.
This athlete is a dog. We have no idea what breed this dog is, what its name is, why it is jumping, or anything else about it other than: 1) it can get up and 2) it is outstanding at anticipating where it needs to jump from so that it can hit that apparatus that it uses to propel itself even higher. Maybe we can all learn a lesson from this dog about reaching as high as possible and trying to achieve anything we set our minds to.
Good dog.
