Puffy, Paper & Rap Politics, Ma$e Explains It All To Funkmaster Flex

In case you missed it, Ma$e made his way back to rap yesterday, appearing on Wale’s “Slight Work” remix. This morning, Flex got on the horn with the rap poet-turned-preacher for a status update on everything from his relationship with Puffy (“Diddy is Diddy, man. We’re probably cooler than I thought”), how current Bad Boy French Montana created his itch to rap again, the reasons behind his retirement, where rap ranks versus religion (“I’d still pick God over music any day”), the label rumors and more.

His return to the mic and mentions of a forthcoming album most likely have absolutely nothing to do with the $124,774.85 he owes the IRS in back taxes. Nope, absolutely nothing.
