Have you ever wanted to try the Bruschetta-bout-it Burger? How about the I Know Why The Cajun Burger Sings? Well, you’ll get the chance soon. A Bob’s Burgers cookbook is coming thanks to Cole Bowden, the guy behind The Bob’s Burger Experiment.
For the past two years, Bowden has dedicated himself to creating each burger that appears on Bob’s burger-of-the-day board. From the Eggers Can’t Be Cheesers Burger to the Shoot Out at the Okra-Corral Burger, Bowden has tried them all. And soon we’ll reap the benefits. Turns out, one of the blog’s fans was none other than Loren Bouchard, the show’s creator.
“I loved [the blog] ever since I heard of it, which was at its inception several years ago,” Bouchard tells The Salt. “It was maybe the best example of how doing a show in the age of the Internet can be such a satisfying experience.”
Bouchard says fan forums are a great way for creators like him to eavesdrop on what viewers think of the show. But Bowden’s fandom took things to a whole new level.
Bouchard is even supplying the cookbook’s illustrations. The book is still in its early stages, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer. We will, however, have to wait for a special Gene Belcher cookbook.
