Ever since Ronda Rousey made her dramatic pro wrestling debut alongside The Rock at WrestleMania 31, the world has been pestering the poor woman about whether she’ll return to WWE. Unfortunately, Dana White publicly put the kibosh on her returning while under UFC contract, so Ronda’s been put in the awkward position of having to shrug and say, “Well, maybe possibly definitely someday!” over and over again.

Well, it seems as if Ronda may have finally snapped when asked the question again at a recent Q&A hosted by the Wall Street Journal. Rather than give her usual response, she essentially told everyone to stop harassing her about it because they’re trying to set up a surprise, and we’re going to ruin it with our dumb questions…

“Look, the thing is, would you really want to know? With the last WrestleMania, what was the coolest part? It’s the surprise. So do you really want to know? Maybe this is all part of some plot, to put Dana out there and be like, ‘Nope, no way it’ll ever happen.’ Then make everyone forget about it so later I can just pop up like, ‘What? Dana said no.’”

Hmmmm! That’s a pretty interesting “hypothetical” Rousey just threw out there. Why, it’s so crazy it might just be true! Rousey elaborated on surprises being a good thing…

“That’s the cool thing about WWE. You don’t know which factors are being put out there because they’re real and which ones are being put out there to put you guys off of what’s really going to happen. As an avid wrestling fan, myself, I would rather not know. If you knew that Seth Rollins was going to turn on The Shield would you have wanted to know? No. It would have ruined that moment. As a fan and respecting your fandom, I can’t tell you anything.”

Okay, we get it. Surprises are good. It’s just, you’re really cool, and us wrestling fans wanted to make sure you still liked us and stuff, but we’ll stop bothering you now. I mean, if you wanted to give With Spandex a quick confirmation of when you’ll be wrestling Stephanie McMahon, that’d be cool, but no pressure.
