Say this about Noah Hawley: He is not afraid of taking on intimidating projects. After turning the Coen Brothers’ classic Fargo into one of the best series on television (and again, think of the face you made way back when you heard someone was making a Fargo series with no involvement from the Coens), he has another project based on a work from a widely respected creator lined up: A limited series for FX based on the Kurt Vonnegut 1963 novel Cat’s Cradle.

It’s worth noting again how terrific Fargo has been through one and a half seasons. And it’s also worth noting that Hawley and FX have put together two pretty remarkable casts so far. So if you’re a fan of Vonnegut’s work and wanted to take this opportunity to, say, dream cast this limited series, you might end up hitting one square on the nose.
