The NYC Parks Department Makes The Perfect Joke About Those Terrifying Trump Statues

On Thursday, the American people were faced with something horrifying, second only to the fact that Donald Trump is actually running for president: nude statues of the Republican candidate have popped up all over the country in major city centers. The effigies, entitled “The Emperor Has No Balls,” are said to be the work of LA artist Ginger, and, well, the artwork’s name is apt. With all of his hemming and hawing over how the media has speculated over the size of his hands, something tells me that Trump is going to take umbrage with this representation of certain body parts as well. Let’s just say there are a couple of things missing (Balls. Balls are missing.), and Little Trump isn’t exactly something to gab to your girlfriends about over brunch.

However, perhaps the greatest thing about this whole ordeal was how the New York City Parks Department responded to the statue that took up temporary residence in Union Square. While they could have simply commented on how it had to be removed, they saw an opportunity and they took it.

Now that, my friends, is a perfectly executed d*ck joke. Sometimes when you stare into the abyss that is this year’s election cycle, all you can do to stay sane is make a cheeky quip.
