Post Malone And Justin Bieber Team Up On The Breezy ‘Deja Vu’

When Post Malone first came on to the hip-hop scene, he was definitely met with some skepticism (and perhaps with good reason), but after his racist past was exposed, he continued to apologize, even writing about it in a few songs. Funny enough, along the way, the “White Iverson” singer befriended pop superstar Justin Bieber — someone who coincidentally has also dealt with racist videos creeping up from his past. The two toured together and seemed to get along well enough until the Biebs tried to burn Malone with a cigarette as a joke that resulted in him getting in a chokehold.

But apparently, that storm has been weathered and all of that history is water under the bridge as the two have teamed up on a new collaboration together. The track, “Deja Vu,” is from Malone’s debut album, Stoney, that was scheduled to arrive in August, but was pushed back at the last minute. Last week, he posted an apology on Instagram for the wait and promised that new music would be coming soon. Well, now we finally have a taste of that new stuff with this breezy new track. For all the supposed animosity they had between each other, it’s uncanny how well they link up on the track. If the track dropped in May instead of September, this could have easily been a Song of the Summer contender. Stoney is still scheduled for a fall release.
