Carly Fiorina Struck Back With A Perfect Response To Donald Trump’s Attack On Her Looks

Wednesday evening’s CNN GOP Debate began with Donald Trump continuing his record of criticizing people’s looks. Trump first took a jab at Rand Paul’s rank within the GOP polling numbers. Trump also said he never attacked Paul’s looks, but “there’s plenty of subject matter there…” Jeb Bush later failed to gather courage against Trump, but Carly Fiorina did not falter in the same regard.

Immediately following a widespread exchange about Planned Parenthood funding — during which Trump insisted, “Wow, I will take care of women, I respect women” — Carly Fiorina was asked how she felt about Trump’s criticism of her looks to Rolling Stone. To recap, Trump told the publication, “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?” He added, “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

Fiorina’s response: “I think women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said.” To which Trump replied, “I think she has a beautiful face, and she’s a beautiful woman.”

Almost immediately, Twitter applauded Fiorina in manner of the CNN live audience.
