The original Dishonored featured a fairly impressive voice cast that included Susan Sarandon, Lena Headley and Chloe Grace Moretz. Now it seems the sequel will be serving up another talented batch of actors.
The two main protagonists of Dishonored 2, Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin, will be played by respected voice acting vets. Corvo, a former bodyguard to the royal family turned assassin (and hero of the first Dishonored), will be played by Stephen Russell (Nick Valentine from Fallout 4). Emily Kaldwin, the dethroned Empress of Dunwall who’s out to reclaim her throne, will be voiced Erica Luttrell (Darla from Fallout 4).
The two main actors will be backed up by a star-studded supporting cast. Vincent D’Onofrio and Rosario Dawson, most recently of Daredevil, will be playing a duke and ship captain respectively, Pedro Pascal (Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones) will be a gang leader, and Sam Rockwell (too many things to name) will be an important member of the city guard. Jamie Hector (Marlo from The Wire) and Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham‘s Penguin) will also have significant roles.
It’s certainly a varied, accomplished lot, and speaks to the amount of effort Bethesda sinks into the Dishonored world and story. Bethesda has promised we’ll see more of Dishonored 2 at this year’s E3 and recently announced a release date of November 11, 2016, so sharpen those neck-stabbing knives.
