To anyone who’s ever cursed, “F*ck Wil Wheaton,” well, you’re not far off: a private dick on Redditor recently noticed that the California set the former Star Trek: The Next Generation star uses for his webseries, Geek & Sundry’s Tabletop, doubles as an XXX adult movie set. Right down to the same couch. Via Gawker:
A Redditor who goes by the classy handle A_Monocle_For_Sauron was the first to point out the “unmistakable similarities” between the Downtown LA set of Wheaton’s show and the one used to film a porn scene with award-winning adult actress Samantha Saint.
The couch where Saint and her dude do the nasty appears to be the same mustard “Loser’s Couch” Wheaton uses to interview the losers of his celebrity board game tournaments (Jeri Ryan had the dubious honor of being featured in the “comparison shot”). (Via)
When this similarity was pointed out to Wheaton, he claimed that the conspicuously stained cushions had been flipped over. But another Redditor, who goes by Banging_Chicks69, probably, said, um, no, they hadn’t, to which Wheaton could only reply, “Goddammit.” Oh well, should this whole I’M A NERD LOVE ME thing not work out for Wheaton, at least he knows where to start his new career as Poon Crusher. He’ll bring the pie!
