Maybe it was that the Brooklyn Hip-Hop festival turned 10 this weekend — or that he just happened to be Williamsburg for a stroll this weekend — but Jay Z shared some bars during a surprise appearance during Jay Electronica's set at the event this weekend.
The famed rapper spat out his verses from Big Daddy Kane's “Young Gifted and Black” and his and Electronica's remix of Soulja Boy's “We Made It,” plus “Shiny Suit Theory” and the Jay Z solo hit “P.S.A. (Public Service Announcement).”
Jay Electronica had other big-named company during his set at the Brooklyn fest: Mac Miller, J. Cole and Talib Kweli also guested during his afternoon slot.
Jay Z was in the NYC area this weekend with Beyonce, as the pair had back-to-back performances at MetLife Stadium for The On The Run tour.
