Weep tears of joy, Gretchen Wieners. Fetch has made it! Not necessarily in the way the Lacey Chabert’s Mean Girls character might have wanted, but the word has added traction this week thanks to an adorable video of the happiest dog this side of Odie.
That cheery pup at the top of the screen is Buddy. He’s a rescue dog from Toronto that has racked up an amazing 62 million views (and counting) on Facebook. Why are people going buckwild for this Buddy? His backyard fun with an automatic fetch machine is industrial strength cute. Look at that dog! He’s a portrait of pure bliss.
“Once he learned how to actually play with it and use it himself, he just became very excited by it,” shared Buddy’s guardian Rennie Berchard in an interview with ABC News. “He’s just thrilled that he can do it on his own, and I think that’s the overall excitement for him. But he loves the anticipation.”
Would you like to see more Facebook funzos with Buddy The Rescue Dog? Of course you would. This is the internet and such things are mandatory.
