The “season premiere” of Monday Night Raw promised a lot — a new announce team, the return of pyro, a new set — and delivered on all of them in the show’s opening minutes.
Below you can watch the new intro to the “new era” of Raw, featuring the song ‘Legendary’ by Skillet. You also get a good look at the set, which looks too much like a skate park on fire for Darby Allin to not be on the roster.
WWE also provided a closer look at the set with a pre-show video, highlighting exactly where the S-K-A-T-E letters would be if this was a stage in Tony Hawk Pro Skater.

The new era of Raw is set to feature multiple championship matches, appearances from WWE legends Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, and began quickly with Brock Lesnar showing up to ruin Rey Mysterio’s evening and murder his entire son, so it looks like they’re deadly serious about turning a corner. At the very least, Brock Lesnar’s entrance felt a lot better in a field of fire with fireworks exploding behind him, so that’s something.
Make sure you’re here on Friday night to see how the Fox version of Smackdown’s set turns out.
