Artist Bruce Yan has taken some of your favorite everyday consumer logos and products, thrown in variety of classic animation characters from across the globe, and created something that is fun and amazing.
Contemporary and classic characters are all represented, with little preference to media or cultural background. Bugs Bunny fits perfectly into the Playboy logo, Regular Show stands in for the Toronto Blue Jays and Hayao Miyazaki has been granted his own airline through Yan’s work.
This would be a PR nightmare full of red tape if an actual company attempted to use an intellectual property to sell their product (and vice versa). Thankfully, the limits on artistic expression are a little more lax. Even if you can buy said pieces online, if they aren’t sold out of course.
