Yoko Ono seems to have had a bit of scare on Friday night which luckily isn’t as serious as previously reported. Variety reports that artist, musician and widow of late Beatles member John Lennon was rushed to the hospital from her home in Mahattan:
The 83-year-old artist, musician and widow of John Lennon was taken from her home at Manhattan’s famed Dakota apartment building to Mt. Sinai West Hospital, CBS New York reported. That’s the same hospital where Lennon was pronounced dead after being shot by a deranged fan outside the Dakota on Dec. 8, 1980.
Mintz said Ono would likely be released on Saturday.
Sean Lennon provided some clarification on his mother’s status on Twitter, noting that earlier reports that Ono had suffered a stroke were false.
Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern @yokoono

The artist’s trip to the hospital follows a busy year that includes her thoughts on the claims she broke up The Beatles, John Lennon’s apparent desire for sexual experimentation, and a loving tribute on his 75th birthday.
