Fiona Apple Told An Audience To 'Shut The F*ck Up' Then Walked Off Stage During A Show

Not to be outdone by Dave Chappelle, with whom she has so much in common with (they both know someone named Fred), Fiona Apple also walked off stage during a live show on Thursday night, proving yet again that THE WORLD IS B*LLSHIT. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Apple’s favorite magazine, the songstress (Apple’s favorite way to be described) was performing at a posh Louis Vuitton event in Tokyo when she grew frustrated with the chattering, skinny hordes who wouldn’t silence their babbling about the number of calories in water. Midway through her set, she climbed on top of her piano and attempted to shush the crowd. She then, and I quote, “challenged everyone to be silent for the duration of a tone she created by striking a small metal bell.” It didn’t work.

Apple instructed the audience to “shut the f*ck up” and uttered other expletives, both audibly and under her breath, calling the event’s attendees “rude.” She continued with her set before shouting, “Predictable! Predictable fashion, what the f*ck?” as she stormed off the stage. The show was punctuated with other bizarre moments, such as when she hit her head with her microphone, did a back bend over her piano bench, and stared intensely at her guitarist as if in a love-struck trance. It was all downhill from the moment a Louis Vuitton representative told one of the models Apple would be there that night, and she replied, “No thanks. I ate yesterday.”
