Cortland Finnegan Justifies NFL Uniform Restrictions with Custom Jordans

Let’s face it, the Bucs and Rams are last in their divisions and a Mike Glennon/Kellen Clemens matchup is going to be relatively difficult to sell. Week 16 brings most fantasy leagues to their championship round, but the only players worth watching would be Vincent Jackson and Zac Stacy. Not the marquee game St. Louis hoped for when they selected this game to bust out their ’99 throwback jerseys (is 14 years considered “throwback”?).

To continue making headlines for things other than football skills, Cortland Finnegan will also be sporting new kicks for the game. Made by DeJesus Customs, the Air Jordan XII’s feature Ram horns, lightning bolts, Finnegan’s name and number. Even though the idea of Jordans being converted to cleats seems like cross-sport blasphemy, Nike has already created them for other NFL players. These just happened to get a Lisa Frank sticker book treatment.
