Guilt-Free Listening: B.o.B’s ‘Underground Luxury’ Album Stream

Not really sure if anyone gives two shits but B.o.B’s coordinated an early listen to his new album, Underground Luxury, with MTV before the December 17th release date. The snippets actually sounded like early Bobby Ray circa the Cloud 9 days and had me anticipating the album a bit, before “Priscilla” threw everything off. Still, I’d bet on Bobby to have a few jams tucked away in the 15-track release.

As an aside, I’ve never seen MTV’s streaming player but seeing them move in that direction makes sense. They have the audience and more than enough power on the backend to make it work. Also, an artist hosting an album on MTV means they’ll be engaging a much wider audience than the usuals who know DatPiff and Livemixtapes (no shots). Hell, anything to see the music portal working to promoting new music again.
