Oh man, Dunkin’ Donuts’ donut breakfast sandwich is really happening.

The Massachusetts-based food chain recently announced that they’ll be adding the sugary calorie bomb, officially titled the “Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich,” to their national menu June 7, providing the yin to their healthier options’ yang. The innards of the sandwich will see a pairing of fried eggs and bacon situate itself between a halved glazed donut; although, Stan Frankenthaler, Dunkin’s executive chef and vice president of product innovation, says that restaurants will probably be accommodating toward using any donut a customer wants.

Ironically, the company notes that the donut sandwich will actually have 30 less calories per serving than Dunkin’s most recent “health-conscious” option, the turkey sausage sandwich. The donut sandwich will clock in at 360 calories, while the turkey sausage sandwich totals 390.

At this point, Americans are accustomed to seeing donuts used as fatty food buffers. The Krispy Kreme “Craz-E Burger” not only stops hearts but presses, and remains a gastronomical “f*ck you” to the health-conscious establishment.

Remember, America runs on Dunkin’. And if people are eating this, they might really want to consider running.
