Most people would associate the name Bingo Players with chain-smoking, old women named Agnus and Beatrice, who habitually head towards the local VFW Hall to lose their Social Security check every Friday night. Well, now, all you close-minded folk can add the complete opposite to your mental Rolodex, as Netherlands-based production-duo of Paul Bäumer & Maarten Hoogstraten are collectively going by your Grandma’s gambling-moniker and making jams hot enough to turn up the average age at your local nightclub.
The winner brought specifically to my attention is called, “Cry (Just A Little)” and finds its pumping heart in the form of a wholesome vocal sample that perfectly contrasts the invigorating marriage of drum and bass and hits harder than the realization that you’re too old to be seeing you’re favorite new group in concert.
This may never hit it big for the older demographics, but the kids are gonna love it.
