Kanye West Isn’t Here For Your Filthy Corporate Money!

If you had intentions of getting Kanye West’s face on a bottle of shampoo, guess again. The King Of All Rants did a show at Hammerstein Apollo in London yesterday and Yeezy gave us all what we’ve come to expect from him: an epic rant.

Kanye’s latest episode found corporations and sponsors dead in his crosshairs. For roughly five minutes, West served up a tongue-lashing that could be seen as equal parts rant, freestyle, rhetorical question and double entendre, since it’s also been perhaps wrongly misinterpreted as a diatribe against Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and “Suit & Tie.”

“Creativity fuels everything. I hate business people. People get on the phone with me, tell me, oh you know like, ‘what kind of business can it do, though? What type of business are you doing? What’s the numbers? How much did you sell? What’s the radio spins? How much shampoo can you sell with your face on it and shit?”

“Remind me again why we in this shit? Remind me again why the Grammys couldn’t suck my dick? Remind me again who’s the original Superfly? And I got love for Hov but I ain’t f*king with that suit and tie. Remind me again why we in this shit? Remind me why we in this shit? Every nigga tryna get rich. Every rapper tryna get rich. And every rapper always rapping about fucking somebody else…bitch.”

Skip to the 4:00 mark in the video and enjoy the fireworks.

It’s safe to assume we won’t be seeing a “Hey, my name is Kanye West and I love Doritos Cool Ranch chips” commercial anytime soon.
