Today’s J Cole’s 29th birthday and to celebrate he decided to give a gift to his fans. Well, two gifts actually.

Cole announced via Twitter that his Dreamville Records imprint has formed an official partnership with Interscope Records. In released that statement that followed, Cole expanded, “We’re honored and excited to partner with Interscope Records, a legendary and powerful force in the music industry. We’re ready to add to the history.”

To welcome in the new deal, he decided to drop a free mixtape, Revenge of the Dreamers, an 11-track project featuring cuts from himself and the new label’s acts Omen and TSS favorite, Bas.

This is just the beginning of what could be a huge year for Cole and his label, as he also announced Bas will be releasing a project, Last Winter, on March 6th.

To cap off an already big day for Cole, Hova himself gave Cole his original Roc-A-Fella chain tonight at the Madison Square Garden stop of Jermaine’s What Dreams May Come True tour. Man, for my birthday, all I got was a pair of socks and some baked ziti. Happy Birthday indeed.
