Free agency begins at 4 p.m. Eastern today. The Niners will be the ones kicking things off by signing recently unretired receiver Randy Moss, who will now have played for both Bay Area teams, to a one-year deal. Moss will be taking the “disappointing veteran receiver” roster spot formerly occupied by Braylon Edwards, who was released by the team in December.
As this photo taken by a reader at an unspecified Best Buy illustrates, the retail market places a bit of a premium on the wine and cheese crowd over the stab and defile corpse crowd. Ha ha, you say, way to jump on a minor foul-up by a big box retailer, to which I respond: at least it isn’t another “straight cash, homey” gag.
