Blake Griffin Never Met A Spot He Couldn’t Dunk From

One of these days Blake Griffin is going to literally jump from the three point line and dunk on somebody. With the Nuggets in town Wednesday night, Chris Paul’s simple behind-the-back pass from the wing looked innocent at first. Then, before anyone could even realize what happened, BG32 elevated from the dotted circle. In similar fashion to Blake’s dunk-that-wasn’t on Marcin Gortat, follow the dunk in real time through the thought process of those involved.

Chris Paul (:01) — “Bite on the screen, huh? Wonderful. Blake, take two dribbles and dunk this.”

Blake Griffin (:03) — “Son of a…the lane is wide f*ckin’ open! YOLO.”

Chris Paul (:03) — “Two dribbles, dog. Two dribbles then elev…nevermind.”

Timofey Mozgov (:03) — “Why do I fall for this EVERY time?”

Blake Griffin is the closest thing dunking wise we’ve see to a middle ’90s Shawn Kemp since…well, Shawn Kemp in the ’90s. Don’t get me wrong, the old Amar’e was reckless, too, but Blake’s just another level of disrespectful.
