In our current disposable culture, start-up businesses who keep their doors open for over a decade deserve to pat themselves on the back. That’s why we’re pumped to see the good folks at Coalmine Records deliver their Unearthed compilation album.

Instead of throwing a party in their own honor, the NY-based label reinvested in themselves and had DJ Revolution cut up their greatest hits from the past dime, providing a vintage mix to stand alongside the Soundbombing and Beat Junkies projects of hip-hop past. Considering the project is packed with a slew of revered acts like Kool G Rap, Royce Da 5’9, Blu, Sean Price, Pharaohe Monch, Guilty Simpson and Fashawn, all rapping over vintage vibes provided by producers like Diamond D, Nottz, Large Professor and Marco Polo, there’s every reason for real heads to keep this audible treasure in the deck on through summer.

Stream the dusty, crate-digging deliciousness below, courtesy of SPIN and make sure to wish Coalmine a happy born day, by purchasing the project on iTunes, Fat Beats or UGHH. Salut!
