STS comes and goes as he pleases. Despite having been absent from our pages since 2013, the man also known as Sugar Tongue Slim has returned to the fray with help from underground production legend RJD2.

At almost six minutes long,’Hold On Here It Go’ is the latest release from their upcoming collaborative project STS x RJD2 and offers the soulful sound expected from two musicians who have never been afraid to steer clear of the norm. The Deadringer producer offers wide open verses for his Philly counterpart to wax poetically over, only to transition the instrumental into a big, singalong hook that provides an uplifting contrast to the rap nomad’s extended bars.

STS X RJD2 drops on May 5th, but you can pre-order via Amazon.
