While on the promo run, Big Sean swings by L.A.’s Power 106 for the radio debut of “Switch Up” and, naturally, one of the topics of discussion was Kid Cudi’s decision to leave G.O.O.D. Sean confirms that his relationship with his now former labelmate runs deeper than contracts, calling him his “brother” and sharing that once upon a time Cudi gave Sean his Jesus piece with the Detroit rapper lost his. Sean shares that Cudi’s still on the album “whether it’s G.O.O.D. Music or not.”

And how did Sean find out about the news of the split? On Twitter, just like everybody else. But, he also points out that “Switch Up” was not directed at Cudi.
