Tip currently has a record out with Lil Wayne (“Wit Me”) that’s “increasing on iTunes, increasing on Billboard Top 100,” despite being by his lonesome sans traditional label backing. However, the Grand Hustle hustler wouldn’t mind being signed again and having a “beautiful situation.” Apparently, there’s “a lot of work” and “a lot of resources to be dedicated” to being an independent artist.

Basically, Captain Obvious is saying being on his own is a real b*tch because everything is coming out his pockets. But it’s okay because he started from the bottom and was on top before so it can definitely happen again.
